We are sorry to report that Reverend Miriam Keen will be leaving the Benefice on the 5th of March 2023.
Revd Miri joined us five years ago and we are very sad to see her go. The last few years have been very challenging for us all and we have been very lucky to have Revd Miri to lead and support us through these times. Miri embraced new zoom technologies to connect us all during the lockdowns and these online services continue today. She also introduced outside services to enable us to worship and the beautiful countryside which we are so lucky to live in. She has been a great support to the Leckhampstead PCC particularly with our restorations works.
Revd Miri has been part of our local community here to welcome and bless new arrivals, celebrate marriages and celebrate the lives of many of our parishioners. From us all here at St James Church in Leckhampstead a heartfelt thank you and we wish you and your family all the very best for the future.
There will be service of celebration for Revd Miri on Sunday 5th of March at 10.30am in Brightwalton Church, followed by drinks and lunch. If you are planning to attend, please let Sarah know by email: sarah.westdownland@gmail.com.
