We are deeply saddened at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II yesterday and join the nation in expressing our thanks and prayers for everything she has done for our country whilst sharing our sympathy with the royal family.
The village of Leckhampstead can pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II today at St James Church as we have opened a book of condolence for people to sign.
We will also be ringing the church bell at noon, joining the many churches and Government buildings across the country.
As a mark of respect, we will be cancelling the end of Summer BBQ which was due to take place tomorrow evening.
