The Christmas Pop-Up Pub, held on Friday night (19th December), was a wonderful festive success, with the church filled by members of the community coming together to celebrate the season.
The evening was brought to life by the fantastic sounds of Phoenix Brass Band, whose lively and atmospheric music created the perfect Christmas backdrop. From the first note to the last, the band helped set a warm, joyful tone that kept spirits high throughout the night.
Guests were treated to a delicious selection of festive food and drink. Turkey and stuffing baps proved hugely popular, while mulled wine helped everyone stay warm and in good cheer. The bar also featured craft beer from the Indigenous Brewery, which was very well received and added a special local touch to the event.
It was heartening to see the church so full and buzzing with conversation, laughter, and festive spirit. The Pop-Up Pub once again showed how events like this can bring people together and create a real sense of community at Christmas time.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, as well as to all the volunteers, musicians, and suppliers who helped make the evening such a great success. It was truly a memorable and joyful festive occasion. 🎄🍷🎺
